Independence Day

It's great to remind ourselves how free we are.

We just had a righteous thunderstorm, a lovely way to begin the day. More storms are predicted for later.

Independence Day Clarifications

I love this country.
I love this land.
I love these people.
I do not love this nation.
I love this country.
I love this land.
I love these people.

yes, thunderstorms, friends and good eats and drinks--strawberry wine at last. the rain was great for early july. i wonder what the hell weather curve we're headed on now.

we celebrated our freedom of opinion by putting out a new zine. i'll send it to whomever wants it. an article or two on peak oil, lotsa poetry and kickass art, homebirth and periods, a psuedo anti-fnord and a science fiction story. we take submissions, and the next village magazine is in the works.

Great thunderstorm here this morning, too. Summer storms are my favorite.

p.s. I tag you for the Middle Name Game meme.
